- Jeremiah 24 13:22 - And if thou say in thine heart, Wherefore come these things upon me? For the greatness of thine iniquity are thy skirts discovered , and thy heels made bare .
וכי תאמרי בלבבך מדוע קראני אלה ברב עונך נגלו שׁוליך נחמסו עקביך - Ezekiel 26 22:26 - Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things : they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
כהניה חמסו תורתי ויחללו קדשׁי בינ־קדשׁ לחל לא הבדילו ובינ־הטמא לטהור לא הודיעו ומשׁבתותי העלימו עיניהם ואחל בתוכם - Zephaniah 36 3:4 - Her prophets are light and treacherous persons : her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have done violence to the law.
נביאיה פחזים אנשׁי בגדות כהניה חללו־קדשׁ חמסו תורה - Jeremiah 24 22:3 - Thus saith the LORD ; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor : and do no wrong , do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.
