- 2 Chronicles 14 18:4 - And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire , I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.
ויאמר יהושׁפט אל־מלך ישׂראל דרשׁ־נא כיום את־דבר יהוה - Psalms 19 95:8 - Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness :
אל־תקשׁו לבבכם כמריבה כיום מסה במדבר קָשָׁה Be cruel, be fiercer, m.. [8686] לֵבָב Bethink themselves, br.. מְרִיבָה Provocation, strife יוֹם day/time/year Age, always, chronica.. מַסָּה Temptation, trial מִדְבָּר Desert, south, speech, .. - Deuteronomy 5 2:30 - But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate , that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day.
ולא אבה סיחן מלך חשׁבון העברנו בו כי־הקשׁה יהוה אלהיך את־רוחו ואמץ את־לבבו למען תתו בידך כיום הזה - 1 Kings 11 1:51 - And it was told Solomon, saying , Behold, Adonijah feareth king Solomon : for, lo, he hath caught hold on the horns of the altar, saying , Let king Solomon swear unto me to day that he will not slay his servant with the sword.
ויגד לשׁלמה לאמר הנה אדניהו ירא את־המלך שׁלמה והנה אחז בקרנות המזבח לאמר ישׁבע־לי כיום המלך שׁלמה אמ־ימית את־עבדו בחרב - 1 Samuel 9 9:27 - And as they were going down to the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the servant pass on before us, but stand thou still a while, that I may shew thee the word of God.
