- 1 Kings 11 11:4 - For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods : and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father.
ויהי לעת זקנת שׁלמה נשׁיו הטו את־לבבו אחרי אלהים אחרים ולא־היה לבבו שׁלם עמ־יהוה אלהיו כלבב דויד אביו - Nehemiah 16 9:8 - And foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast performed thy words ; for thou art righteous :
ומצאת את־לבבו נאמן לפניך וכרות עמו הברית לתת את־ארץ הכנעני החתי האמרי והפרזי והיבוסי והגרגשׁי לתת לזרעו ותקם את־דבריך כי צדיק אתה - 2 Chronicles 14 6:30 - Then hear thou from heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive , and render unto every man according unto all his ways, whose heart thou knowest ;
ואתה תשׁמע מנ־השׁמים מכון שׁבתך וסלחת ונתתה לאישׁ ככל־דרכיו אשׁר תדע את־לבבו כי אתה לבדך ידעת את־לבב בני האדם - 2 Chronicles 14 36:13 - And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God : but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel.
