- 1 Samuel 9 25:8 - Ask thy young men, and they will shew thee. Wherefore let the young men find favour in thine eyes : for we come in a good day : give , I pray thee, whatsoever cometh to thine hand unto thy servants, and to thy son David.
שׁאל את־נעריך ויגידו לך וימצאו הנערים חן בעיניך כי־על־יום טוב בנו תנה־נא את אשׁר תמצא ידך לעבדיך ולבנך לדוד - Numbers 4 32:5 - Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan.
ויאמרו אמ־מצאנו חן בעיניך יתן את־הארץ הזאת לעבדיך לאחזה אל־תעברנו את־הירדן - 2 Samuel 10 9:10 - Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat : but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table. ויאמרו אליו הנה־נא ישׁ־את־עבדיך חמשׁים אנשׁים בני־חיל ילכו נא ויבקשׁו את־אדניך פנ־נשׂאו רוח יהוה וישׁלכהו באחד ההרים או באחת הגיאות ויאמר לא תשׁלחו - Genesis 1 47:3 - And Pharaoh said unto his brethren, What is your occupation ? And they said unto Pharaoh, Thy servants are shepherds , both we, and also our fathers.
