- Joshua 6 8:20 And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to flee this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers.
אֱנוֹשׁ עַי פָּנָה אַחַר רָאָה עָשָׁן עִיר עָלָה שָׁמַיִם יָד נוּס הֵנָּה עַם נוּס מִדְבָּר הָפַךְ רָדַף - Joshua 6 2:16 And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way.
