- Exodus 2 28:30 - And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim ; and they shall be upon Aaron's heart, when he goeth in before the LORD : and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually.
ונתת אל־חשׁן המשׁפט את־האורים ואת־התמים והיו על־לב אהרן בבאו לפני יהוה ונשׂא אהרן את־משׁפט בני־ישׂראל על־לבו לפני יהוה תמיד - Leviticus 3 8:8 - And he put the breastplate upon him: also he put in the breastplate the Urim and the Thummim.
וישׂם עליו את־החשׁן ויתן אל־החשׁן את־האורים ואת־התמים שׂוּם × any wise, appoint, br.. [8799] חֹשֶׁן Breastplate נָתַן Add, apply, appoint, as.. ולפני אלעזר הכהן יעמד ושׁאל לו במשׁפט האורים לפני יהוה על־פיו יצאו ועל־פיו יבאו הוא וכל־בני־ישׂראל אתו וכל־העדה - Psalms 19 136:7 - To him that made great lights : for his mercy endureth for ever :
לעשׂה אורים גדלים כי לעולם חסדו - Nehemiah 16 7:65 - And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and Thummim.
