- 2 Chronicles 14 11:4 - Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up , nor fight against your brethren : return every man to his house : for this thing is done of me. And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against Jeroboam.
כה אמר יהוה לא־תעלו ולא־תלחמו עמ־אחיכם שׁובו אישׁ לביתו כי מאתי נהיה הדבר הזה וישׁמעו את־דברי יהוה וישׁבו מלכת אל־ירבעם - Amos 30 7:10 - Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying , Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel : the land is not able to bear all his words.
וישׁלח אמציה כהן בית־אל אל־ירבעם מלכ־ישׂראל לאמר קשׁר עליך עמוס בקרב בית ישׂראל לא־תוכל הארץ להכיל את־כל־דבריו - 1 Kings 11 12:15 - Wherefore the king hearkened not unto the people ; for the cause was from the LORD, that he might perform his saying, which the LORD spake by Ahijah the Shilonite unto Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
ולא־שׁמע המלך אל־העם כי־היתה סבה מעם יהוה למען הקים את־דברו אשׁר דבר יהוה ביד אחיה השׁילני אל־ירבעם בנ־נבט - 2 Chronicles 14 10:15 - So the king hearkened not unto the people : for the cause was of God, that the LORD might perform his word, which he spake by the hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
ולא־שׁמע המלך אל־העם כי־היתה נסבה מעם האלהים למען הקים יהוה את־דברו אשׁר דבר ביד אחיהו השׁלוני אל־ירבעם בנ־נבט - Hosea 28 4:4 - Yet let no man strive , nor reprove another : for thy people are as they that strive with the priest.
