- Numbers 4 32:33 - And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round about.
ויתן להם משׁה לבני־גד ולבני ראובן ולחצי שׁבט מנשׁה בנ־יוסף את־ממלכת סיחן מלך האמרי ואת־ממלכת עוג מלך הבשׁן הארץ לעריה בגבלת ערי הארץ סביב - 2 Chronicles 14 25:13 - But the soldiers of the army which Amaziah sent back , that they should not go with him to battle, fell upon the cities of Judah, from Samaria even unto Bethhoron, and smote three thousand of them, and took much spoil.
ובני הגדוד אשׁר השׁיב אמציהו מלכת עמו למלחמה ויפשׁטו בערי יהודה משׁמרון ועד־בית חורון ויכו מהם שׁלשׁת אלפים ויבזו בזה רבה - Jeremiah 24 7:18 - The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger .
הבנים מלקטים עצים והאבות מבערים את־האשׁ והנשׁים לשׁות בצק לעשׂות כונים למלכת השׁמים והסך נסכים לאלהים אחרים למען הכעסני - Isaiah 23 9:7 - Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever.
