- Genesis 1 24:2 - And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put , I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh :
ויאמר אברהם אל־עבדו זקן ביתו המשׁל בכל־אשׁר־לו שׂימ־נא ידך תחת ירכי - 2 Samuel 10 24:21 - And Araunah said , Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant ? And David said , To buy the threshingfloor of thee, to build an altar unto the LORD, that the plague may be stayed from the people.
ויאמר ארונה מדוע בא אדני־המלך אל־עבדו ויאמר דוד לקנות מעמך את־הגרן לבנות מזבח ליהוה ותעצר המגפה מעל העם - Joshua 6 5:14 - And he said , Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come . And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship , and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant ?
