- Deuteronomy 5 10:19 - Love ye therefore the stranger : for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
ואהבתם את־הגר כי־גרים הייתם בארץ מצרים אָהַב (be-)love(-d, -ly, -r),.. עם הארץ עשׁקו עשׁק וגזלו גזל ועני ואביון הונו ואת־הגר עשׁקו בלא משׁפט - 1 Chronicles 13 22:2 - And David commanded to gather together the strangers that were in the land of Israel ; and he set masons to hew wrought stones to build the house of God.
