- Exodus 2 4:17 - And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.
ואת־המטה הזה תקח בידך אשׁר תעשׂה־בו את־האתת לָקַח Accept, bring, buy, car.. [8799] מַטֶּה Rod, staff, tribe יָד ( be) able, × about, a.. עָשָׂה to do, accomplish, make Accomplish, advance, ap.. [8799] אוֹת Mark, miracle, (en-)sig.. - Numbers 4 20:8 - Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes ; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock : so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink .
קח את־המטה והקהל את־העדה אתה ואהרן אחיך ודברתם אל־הסלע לעיניהם ונתן מימיו והוצאת להם מים מנ־הסלע והשׁקית את־העדה ואת־בעירם - Numbers 4 20:9 - And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him.
