- Jeremiah 24 46:7 - Who is this that cometh up as a flood, whose waters are moved as the rivers ?
מי־זה כיאר יעלה כנהרות יתגעשׁו מימיו עָלָה Arise (up), (cause to) .. [8799] יְאֹר Brook, flood, river, st.. מַיִם water Piss, wasting, water(-.. גָּעַשׁ Move, shake, toss, trou.. [8691] נָהָר Flood, river - 1 Kings 11 1:6 - And his father had not displeased him at any time in saying , Why hast thou done so ? and he also was a very goodly man; and his mother bare him after Absalom.
ולא־עצבו אביו מימיו לאמר מדוע ככה עשׂית וגמ־הוא טוב־תאר מאד ואתו ילדה אחרי אבשׁלום - Numbers 4 20:8 - Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes ; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock : so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink .
קח את־המטה והקהל את־העדה אתה ואהרן אחיך ודברתם אל־הסלע לעיניהם ונתן מימיו והוצאת להם מים מנ־הסלע והשׁקית את־העדה ואת־בעירם - Isaiah 23 33:16 - He shall dwell on high : his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks : bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure .
הוא מרומים ישׁכן מצדות סלעים משׂגבו לחמו נתן מימיו נאמנים - Ezekiel 26 47:12 - And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade , neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed : it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary : and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.
ועל־הנחל יעלה על־שׂפתו מזה ומזה כל־עצ־מאכל לא־יבול עלהו ולא־יתם פריו לחדשׁיו יבכר כי מימיו מנ־המקדשׁ המה יוצאים והיו פריו למאכל ועלהו לתרופה
