- Daniel 27 6:27 - He delivereth and rescueth , and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.
משׁיזב ומצל ועבד אתין ותמהין בשׁמיא ובארעא די שׁיזיב לדניאל מנ־יד אריותא - Daniel 27 4:23 - And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from heaven, and saying , Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field ; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him;
ודי חזה מלכא עיר וקדישׁ נחת מנ־שׁמיא ואמר גדו אילנא וחבלוהי ברם עקר שׁרשׁוהי בארעא שׁבקו ובאסור די־פרזל ונחשׁ בדתאא די ברא ובטל שׁמיא יצטבע ועמ־חיות ברא חלקה עד די־שׁבעה עדנין יחלפון עלוהי - Daniel 27 7:23 - Thus he said , The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down , and break it in pieces .
כן אמר חיותא רביעיתא מלכו רביעיא תהוא בארעא די תשׁנא מנ־כל־מלכותא ותאכל כל־ארעא ותדושׁנה ותדקנה - Daniel 27 4:15 - Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field ; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth :
