- 1 Samuel 9 8:18 - And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day.
וזעקתם ביום ההוא מלפני מלככם אשׁר בחרתם לכם ולא־יענה יהוה אתכם ביום ההוא - Joshua 6 24:22 - And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said , We are witnesses.
ויאמר יהושׁע אל־העם עדים אתם בכם כי־אתם בחרתם לכם את־יהוה לעבד אותו ויאמרו עדים - Isaiah 23 65:12 - Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter : because when I called , ye did not answer ; when I spake , ye did not hear ; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
