- Isaiah 23 65:12 - Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter : because when I called , ye did not answer ; when I spake , ye did not hear ; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
ומניתי אתכם לחרב וכלכם לטבח תכרעו יען קראתי ולא עניתם דברתי ולא שׁמעתם ותעשׂו הרע בעיני ובאשׁר לא־חפצתי בחרתם - Jeremiah 24 34:15 - And ye were now turned , and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour ; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name :

ולבית הרכבים אמר ירמיהו כה־אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישׂראל יען אשׁר שׁמעתם על־מצות יהונדב אביכם ותשׁמרו את־כל־מצותיו ותעשׂו ככל אשׁר־צוה אתכם - 2 Chronicles 14 13:9 - Have ye not cast out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and have made you priests after the manner of the nations of other lands ? so that whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams, the same may be a priest of them that are no gods.
הלא הדחתם את־כהני יהוה את־בני אהרן והלוים ותעשׂו לכם כהנים כעמי הארצות כל־הבא למלא ידו בפר בנ־בקר ואילם שׁבעה והיה כהן ללא אלהים
