- 2 Chronicles 14 36:22 - Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished , the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying ,
ובשׁנת אחת לכורשׁ מלך פרס לכלות דבר־יהוה בפי ירמיהו העיר יהוה את־רוח כורשׁ מלכ־פרס ויעבר־קול בכל־מלכותו וגמ־במכתב לאמר - Daniel 27 1:20 - And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.
וכל דבר חכמת בינה אשׁר־בקשׁ מהם המלך וימצאם עשׂר ידות על כל־החרטמים האשׁפים אשׁר בכל־מלכותו - Esther 17 3:6 - And he thought scorn to lay hands on Mordecai alone; for they had shewed him the people of Mordecai : wherefore Haman sought to destroy all the Jews that were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus, even the people of Mordecai.
ויבז בעיניו לשׁלח יד במרדכי לבדו כי־הגידו לו את־עם מרדכי ויבקשׁ המן להשׁמיד את־כל־היהודים אשׁר בכל־מלכות אחשׁורושׁ עם מרדכי - Daniel 27 6:1 - It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom ;
שׁפר קדם דריושׁ והקים על־מלכותא לאחשׁדרפניא מאה ועשׂרין די להון בכל־מלכותא - Esther 17 1:20 - And when the king's decree which he shall make shall be published throughout all his empire, all the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small.
ונשׁמע פתגם המלך אשׁר־יעשׂה בכל־מלכותו כי רבה היא וכל־הנשׁים יתנו יקר לבעליהן למגדול ועד־קטן
