- Joshua 6 17:12 - Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out the inhabitants of those cities ; but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.
ולא יכלו בני מנשׁה להורישׁ את־הערים האלה ויואל הכנעני לשׁבת בארץ הזאת - 1 Samuel 9 6:15 - And the Levites took down the ark of the LORD, and the coffer that was with it, wherein the jewels of gold were, and put them on the great stone : and the men of Bethshemesh offered burnt offerings and sacrificed sacrifices the same day unto the LORD.
והלוים הורידו את־ארון יהוה ואת־הארגז אשׁר־אתו אשׁר־בו כלי־זהב וישׂמו אל־האבן הגדולה ואנשׁי בית־שׁמשׁ העלו עלות ויזבחו זבחים ביום ההוא ליהוה - Genesis 1 43:7 - And they said , The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying , Is your father yet alive ? have ye another brother ? and we told him according to the tenor of these words : could we certainly know that he would say , Bring your brother down ?
ויאמרו שׁאול שׁאל־האישׁ לנו ולמולדתנו לאמר העוד אביכם חי הישׁ לכם אח ונגד־לו על־פי הדברים האלה הידוע נדע כי יאמר הורידו את־אחיכם - 2 Kings 12 21:2 - And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
