- Numbers 4 5:18 - And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering : and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse :
והעמיד הכהן את־האשׁה לפני יהוה ופרע את־ראשׁ האשׁה ונתן על־כפיה את מנחת הזכרון מנחת קנאת הוא וביד הכהן יהיו מי המרים המאררים - Ezekiel 26 12:2 - Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see , and see not; they have ears to hear , and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.
בנ־אדם בתוך בית־המרי אתה ישׁב אשׁר עינים להם לראות ולא ראו אזנים להם לשׁמע ולא שׁמעו כי בית מרי הם - Ezekiel 26 24:3 - And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD ; Set on a pot, set it on , and also pour water into it:
ומשׁל אל־בית־המרי משׁל ואמרת אליהם כה אמר אדני יהוה שׁפת הסיר שׁפת וגמ־יצק בו מים - Numbers 4 5:24 - And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse : and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.
והשׁקה את־האשׁה את־מי המרים המאררים ובאו בה המים המאררים למרים - Numbers 4 5:19 - And the priest shall charge her by an oath , and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse :
והשׁביע אתה הכהן ואמר אל־האשׁה אמ־לא שׁכב אישׁ אתך ואמ־לא שׂטית טמאה תחת אישׁך הנקי ממי המרים המאררים האלה
