- Ezekiel 26 14:9 - And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
והנביא כי־יפתה ודבר דבר אני יהוה פתיתי את הנביא ההוא ונטיתי את־ידי עליו והשׁמדתיו מתוך עמי ישׂראל - Amos 30 9:8 - Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth ; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD.
הנה עיני אדני יהוה בממלכה החטאה והשׁמדתי אתה מעל פני האדמה אפס כי לא השׁמיד אשׁמיד את־בית יעקב נאמ־יהוה - Amos 30 2:9 - Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks ; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
ואנכי השׁמדתי את־האמרי מפניהם אשׁר כגבה ארזים גבהו וחסן הוא כאלונים ואשׁמיד פריו ממעל ושׁרשׁיו מתחת - Micah 33 5:14 - And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities .
