- Deuteronomy 5 15:7 - If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother :
כי־יהיה בך אביון מאחד אחיך באחד שׁעריך בארצך אשׁר־יהוה אלהיך נתן לך לא תאמץ את־לבבך ולא תקפץ את־ידך מאחיך האביון - Deuteronomy 5 24:14 - Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates :
לא־תעשׁק שׂכיר עני ואביון מאחיך או מגרך אשׁר בארצך בשׁעריך - Exodus 2 20:10 - But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God : in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates :
ויום השׁביעי שׁבת ליהוה אלהיך לא־תעשׂה כל־מלאכה אתה ובנכ־ובתך עבדך ואמתך ובהמתך וגרך אשׁר בשׁעריך - Jeremiah 24 31:21 - Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps : set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest : turn again , O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
הציבי לך צינים שׂמי לך תמרורים שׁתי לבך למסלה דרך הלכתי שׁובי בתולת ישׂראל שׁבי אל־עריך אלה - Leviticus 3 27:12 - And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad : as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be.
והעריך הכהן אתה בין טוב ובין רע כערכך הכהן כן יהיה
