- Genesis 1 22:1 - And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham : and he said , Behold, here I am.
ויהי אחר הדברים האלה והאלהים נסה את־אברהם ויאמר אליו אברהם ויאמר הנני - Ecclesiastes 21 3:14 - I know that, whatsoever God doeth , it shall be for ever : nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
