- Nehemiah 16 6:12 - And, lo, I perceived that God had not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against me: for Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.
ואכירה והנה לא־אלהים שׁלחו כי הנבואה דבר עלי וטוביה וסנבלט שׂכרו - Nehemiah 16 2:10 - When Sanballat the Horonite, and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, heard of it, it grieved them exceedingly that there was come a man to seek the welfare of the children of Israel.
וישׁמע סנבלט החרני וטוביה העבד העמני וירע להם רעה גדלה אשׁר־בא אדם לבקשׁ טובה לבני ישׂראל - 2 Chronicles 14 17:8 - And with them he sent Levites, even Shemaiah, and Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehonathan, and Adonijah, and Tobijah, and Tobadonijah, Levites ; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, priests.
ועמהם הלוים שׁמעיהו ונתניהו וזבדיהו ועשׂהאל ושׁמרימות ויהונתן ואדניהו וטוביהו וטוב אדוניה הלוים ועמהם אלישׁמע ויהורם הכהנים - Nehemiah 16 4:3 - Now Tobiah the Ammonite was by him, and he said , Even that which they build , if a fox go up , he shall even break down their stone wall.
וטוביה העמני אצלו ויאמר גם אשׁר־הם בונים אמ־יעלה שׁועל ופרץ חומת אבניהם - Nehemiah 16 4:7 - But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up , and that the breaches began to be stopped , then they were very wroth ,
ויהי כאשׁר שׁמע סנבלט וטוביה והערבים והעמנים והאשׁדודים כי־עלתה ארוכה לחמות ירושׁלם כי־החלו הפרצים להסתם ויחר להם מאד
