- Judges 7 15:6 - Then the Philistines said , Who hath done this? And they answered , Samson, the son in law of the Timnite, because he had taken his wife, and given her to his companion. And the Philistines came up , and burnt her and her father with fire.
ויאמרו פלשׁתים מי עשׂה זאת ויאמרו שׁמשׁון חתן התמני כי לקח את־אשׁתו ויתנה למרעהו ויעלו פלשׁתים וישׂרפו אותה ואת־אביה באשׁ - Joshua 6 7:25 - And Joshua said , Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.
