- Deuteronomy 5 21:21 - And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die : so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear , and fear .
ורגמהו כל־אנשׁי עירו באבנים ומת ובערת הרע מקרבך וכל־ישׂראל ישׁמעו ויראו - 1 Kings 11 21:13 - And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying , Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died .
ויבאו שׁני האנשׁים בני־בליעל וישׁבו נגדו ויעדהו אנשׁי הבליעל את־נבות נגד העם לאמר ברך נבות אלהים ומלך ויצאהו מחוץ לעיר ויסקלהו באבנים וימת - Deuteronomy 5 22:24 - Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die ; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city ; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife : so thou shalt put away evil from among you.
והוצאתם את־שׁניהם אל־שׁער העיר ההוא וסקלתם אתם באבנים ומתו את־הנער על־דבר אשׁר לא־צעקה בעיר ואת־האישׁ על־דבר אשׁר־ענה את־אשׁת רעהו ובערת הרע מקרבך - 1 Chronicles 13 12:2 - They were armed with bows, and could use both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows out of a bow, even of Saul's brethren of Benjamin.
