- Jonah 32 4:8 - And it came to pass, when the sun did arise , that God prepared a vehement east wind ; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted , and wished in himself to die , and said , It is better for me to die than to live.
ויהי כזרח השׁמשׁ וימן אלהים רוח קדים חרישׁית ותך השׁמשׁ על־ראשׁ יונה ויתעלף וישׁאל את־נפשׁו למות ויאמר טוב מותי מחיי - Psalms 19 78:59 - When God heard this, he was wroth , and greatly abhorred Israel :
שׁמע אלהים ויתעבר וימאס מאד בישׂראל - Jeremiah 24 23:32 - Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness ; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all , saith the LORD.

ויתעבר יהוה בי למענכם ולא שׁמע אלי ויאמר יהוה אלי רב־לך אל־תוסף דבר אלי עוד בדבר הזה - Genesis 1 6:6 - And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
