- Daniel 27 11:15 - So the king of the north shall come , and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities : and the arms of the south shall not withstand , neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand .
ויבא מלך הצפון וישׁפך סוללה ולכד עיר מבצרות וזרעות הנגב לא יעמדו ועם מבחריו ואין כח לעמד - Jeremiah 24 37:8 - And the Chaldeans shall come again , and fight against this city, and take it, and burn it with fire.
ושׁבו הכשׂדים ונלחמו על־העיר הזאת ולכדה ושׂרפה באשׁ - Jeremiah 24 32:3 - For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up , saying , Wherefore dost thou prophesy , and say , Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;
