- 2 Kings 12 13:18 - And he said , Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice , and stayed .
ויאמר קח החצים ויקח ויאמר למלכ־ישׂראל הכ־ארצה ויך שׁלשׁ־פעמים ויעמד - Jeremiah 24 51:11 - Make bright the arrows ; gather the shields : the LORD hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes : for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.
הברו החצים מלאו השׁלטים העיר יהוה את־רוח מלכי מדי כי־על־בבל מזמתו להשׁחיתה כי־נקמת יהוה היא נקמת היכלו - Nehemiah 16 4:16 - And it came to pass from that time forth, that the half of my servants wrought in the work, and the other half of them held both the spears, the shields, and the bows, and the habergeons ; and the rulers were behind all the house of Judah.
