- Exodus 2 33:16 - For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight ? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated , I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
ובמה יודע אפוא כי־מצאתי חן בעיניך אני ועמך הלוא בלכתך עמנו ונפלינו אני ועמך מכל־העם אשׁר על־פני האדמה - Exodus 2 33:17 - And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken : for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.
ויאמר יהוה אל־משׁה גם את־הדבר הזה אשׁר דברת אעשׂה כי־מצאת חן בעיני ואדעך בשׁם - 2 Samuel 10 14:22 - And Joab fell to the ground on his face, and bowed himself, and thanked the king : and Joab said , To day thy servant knoweth that I have found grace in thy sight, my lord, O king, in that the king hath fulfilled the request of his servant.
ויפל יואב אל־פניו ארצה וישׁתחו ויברך את־המלך ויאמר יואב היום ידע עבדך כי־מצאתי חן בעיניך אדני המלך אשׁר־עשׂה המלך את־דבר עבדו - 1 Samuel 9 20:3 - And David sware moreover, and said , Thy father certainly knoweth that I have found grace in thine eyes ; and he saith , Let not Jonathan know this, lest he be grieved : but truly as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, there is but a step between me and death.
וישׁבע עוד דוד ויאמר ידע ידע אביך כי־מצאתי חן בעיניך ויאמר אל־ידע־זאת יהונתן פנ־יעצב ואולם חי־יהוה וחי נפשׁך כי כפשׂע ביני ובין המות
