- Genesis 1 42:38 - And he said , My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead , and he is left alone: if mischief befall him by the way in the which ye go , then shall ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.
ויאמר לא־ירד בני עמכם כי־אחיו מת והוא לבדו נשׁאר וקראהו אסון בדרך אשׁר תלכו־בה והורדתם את־שׂיבתי ביגון שׁאולה - 1 Samuel 9 29:4 - And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return , that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master ? should it not be with the heads of these men ?
