- Deuteronomy 5 23:15 - Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee:
לא־תסגיר עבד אל־אדניו אשׁר־ינצל אליך מעם אדניו סָגַר Close up, deliver (up),.. [8686] אָדוֹן master Lord, master, owner עֶבֶד × bondage, bondman, (bo.. נָצַל × at all, defend, deliv.. וממנשׁה נפלו על־דויד בבאו עמ־פלשׁתים על־שׁאול למלחמה ולא עזרם כי בעצה שׁלחהו סרני פלשׁתים לאמר בראשׁינו יפול אל־אדניו שׁאול - 1 Samuel 9 29:4 - And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return , that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master ? should it not be with the heads of these men ?

והוא־בא ויעמד אל־אדניו ויאמר אליו אלישׁע מאן גחזי ויאמר לא־הלך עבדך אנה ואנה - 1 Samuel 9 20:38 - And Jonathan cried after the lad, Make speed, haste , stay not. And Jonathan's lad gathered up the arrows , and came to his master.
