- Joshua 6 14:13 - And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance.
ויברכהו יהושׁע ויתן את־חברון לכלב בנ־יפנה לנחלה - Joshua 6 14:14 - Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel.
על־כן היתה־חברון לכלב בנ־יפנה הקנזי לנחלה עד היום הזה יען אשׁר מלא אחרי יהוה אלהי ישׂראל - Ecclesiastes 21 9:4 - For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope : for a living dog is better than a dead lion.
