- Daniel 27 5:7 - The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers . And the king spake , and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whosoever shall read this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.
קרא מלכא בחיל להעלה לאשׁפיא כשׂדיא וגזריא ענה מלכא ואמר לחכימי בבל די כל־אנשׁ די־יקרה כתבה דנה ופשׁרה יחונני ארגונא ילבשׁ והמונכא די־דהבא על־צוארה ותלתי במלכותא ישׁלט - Daniel 27 2:44 - And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed : and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
וביומיהון די מלכיא אנון יקים אלה שׁמיא מלכו די לעלמין לא תתחבל ומלכותה לעם אחרן לא תשׁתבק תדק ותסיף כל־אלין מלכותא והיא תקום לעלמיא - Daniel 27 7:18 - But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
ויקבלון מלכותא קדישׁי עליונין ויחסנון מלכותא עד־עלמא ועד עלם עלמיא - Daniel 27 6:3 - Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
אדין דניאל דנה הוא מתנצח על־סרכיא ואחשׁדרפניא כל־קבל די רוח יתירא בה ומלכא עשׁית להקמותה על־כל־מלכותא - Daniel 27 5:31 - And Darius the Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old.
