- Joshua 6 9:18 - And the children of Israel smote them not, because the princes of the congregation had sworn unto them by the LORD God of Israel. And all the congregation murmured against the princes.
ולא הכום בני ישׂראל כי־נשׁבעו להם נשׂיאי העדה ביהוה אלהי ישׂראל וילנו כל־העדה על־הנשׂיאים - Proverbs 20 25:14 - Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain.
נשׂיאים ורוח וגשׁם אין אישׁ מתהלל במתת־שׁקר - Joshua 6 22:32 - And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, and the princes, returned from the children of Reuben, and from the children of Gad, out of the land of Gilead, unto the land of Canaan, to the children of Israel, and brought them word again .
