- Ezra 15 9:8 - And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage.
ועתה כמעט־רגע היתה תחנה מאת יהוה אלהינו להשׁאיר לנו פליטה ולתת־לנו יתד במקום קדשׁו להאיר עינינו אלהינו ולתתנו מחיה מעט בעבדתנו - Joshua 6 17:4 - And they came near before Eleazar the priest, and before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes, saying , The LORD commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brethren. Therefore according to the commandment of the LORD he gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father.
ותקרבנה לפני אלעזר הכהן ולפני יהושׁע בנ־נון ולפני הנשׂיאים לאמר יהוה צוה את־משׁה לתת־לנו נחלה בתוך אחינו ויתן להם אל־פי יהוה נחלה בתוך אחי אביהן - Joshua 6 21:2 - And they spake unto them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying , The LORD commanded by the hand of Moses to give us cities to dwell in , with the suburbs thereof for our cattle.
וידברו אליהם בשׁלה בארץ כנען לאמר יהוה צוה ביד־משׁה לתת־לנו ערים לשׁבת ומגרשׁיהן לבהמתנו - Ezra 15 9:9 - For we were bondmen ; yet our God hath not forsaken us in our bondage, but hath extended mercy unto us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, and to repair the desolations thereof, and to give us a wall in Judah and in Jerusalem.
כי־עבדים אנחנו ובעבדתנו לא עזבנו אלהינו ויט־עלינו חסד לפני מלכי פרס לתת־לנו מחיה לרומם את־בית אלהינו ולהעמיד את־חרבתיו ולתת־לנו גדר ביהודה ובירושׁלם
