- 1 Kings 11 2:29 - And it was told king Solomon that Joab was fled unto the tabernacle of the LORD ; and, behold, he is by the altar. Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying , Go , fall upon him.
ויגד למלך שׁלמה כי נס יואב אל־אהל יהוה והנה אצל המזבח וישׁלח שׁלמה את־בניהו בנ־יהוידע לאמר לך פגע־בו - 1 Kings 11 2:46 - So the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada ; which went out , and fell upon him, that he died . And the kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon.
ויצו המלך את־בניהו בנ־יהוידע ויצא ויפגע־בו וימת והממלכה נכונה ביד־שׁלמה - 1 Kings 11 2:25 - And king Solomon sent by the hand of Benaiah the son of Jehoiada ; and he fell upon him that he died .
וישׁלח המלך שׁלמה ביד בניהו בנ־יהוידע ויפגע־בו וימת - Job 18 21:15 - What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?
מה־שׁדי כי־נעבדנו ומה־נועיל כי נפגע־בו שַׁדַּי Almighty עָבַד × be, keep in bondage, .. [8799] יָעַל × at all, set forward, .. [8686] פָּגַע Come (betwixt), cause t.. [8799] - 1 Kings 11 2:31 - And the king said unto him, Do as he hath said , and fall upon him, and bury him; that thou mayest take away the innocent blood, which Joab shed , from me, and from the house of my father.
ויאמר לו המלך עשׂה כאשׁר דבר ופגע־בו וקברתו והסירת דמי חנם אשׁר שׁפך יואב מעלי ומעל בית אבי
