- Jeremiah 24 27:8 - And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish , saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.
והיה הגוי והממלכה אשׁר לא־יעבדו אתו את־נבוכדנאצר מלכ־בבל ואת אשׁר לא־יתן את־צוארו בעל מלך בבל בחרב וברעב ובדבר אפקד על־הגוי ההוא נאמ־יהוה עד־תמי אתם בידו - Job 18 39:19 - Hast thou given the horse strength ? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder ?

ויסר פרעה את־טבעתו מעל ידו ויתן אתה על־יד יוסף וילבשׁ אתו בגדי־שׁשׁ וישׂם רבד הזהב על־צוארו - Jeremiah 24 27:11 - But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, saith the LORD ; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.
והגוי אשׁר יביא את־צוארו בעל מלכ־בבל ועבדו והנחתיו על־אדמתו נאמ־יהוה ועבדה וישׁב בה - Genesis 1 33:4 - And Esau ran to meet him , and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him : and they wept .
