- Ezekiel 26 17:8 - It was planted in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bear fruit, that it might be a goodly vine.
אל־שׂדה טוב אל־מים רבים היא שׁתולה לעשׂות ענף ולשׂאת פרי להיות לגפן אדרת - Ezekiel 26 17:10 - Yea, behold, being planted , shall it prosper ? shall it not utterly wither , when the east wind toucheth it? it shall wither in the furrows where it grew.
והנה שׁתולה התצלח הלוא כגעת בה רוח הקדים תיבשׁ יבשׁ על־ערגת צמחה תיבשׁ - Hosea 28 9:13 - Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus, is planted in a pleasant place : but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer .
