- 2 Samuel 10 17:29 - And honey, and butter, and sheep, and cheese of kine, for David, and for the people that were with him, to eat : for they said , The people is hungry, and weary, and thirsty, in the wilderness.
ודבשׁ וחמאה וצאן ושׁפות בקר הגישׁו לדוד ולעם אשׁר־אתו לאכול כי אמרו העם רעב ועיף וצמא במדבר - Isaiah 23 35:7 - And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water : in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
והיה השׁרב לאגם וצמאון למבועי מים בנוה תנים רבצה חציר לקנה וגמא - Ezekiel 26 19:13 - And now she is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty ground.
