- Ezra 15 6:22 - And kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with joy : for the LORD had made them joyful , and turned the heart of the king of Assyria unto them, to strengthen their hands in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
ויעשׂו חג־מצות שׁבעת ימים בשׂמחה כי שׂמחם יהוה והסב לב מלכ־אשׁור עליהם לחזק ידיהם במלאכת בית־האלהים אלהי ישׂראל - 2 Chronicles 14 20:27 - Then they returned , every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy ; for the LORD had made them to rejoice over their enemies .
וישׁבו כל־אישׁ יהודה וירושׁלם ויהושׁפט בראשׁם לשׁוב אל־ירושׁלם בשׂמחה כי־שׂמחם יהוה מאויביהם - Nehemiah 16 12:43 - Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced : for God had made them rejoice with great joy : the wives also and the children rejoiced : so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
