- 1 Kings 11 8:38 - What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house :
כל־תפלה כל־תחנה אשׁר תהיה לכל־האדם לכל עמך ישׂראל אשׁר ידעון אישׁ נגע לבבו ופרשׂ כפיו אל־הבית הזה - Joshua 6 11:20 - For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly , and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.
כי מאת יהוה היתה לחזק את־לבם לקראת המלחמה את־ישׂראל למען החרימם לבלתי היות־להם תחנה כי למען השׁמידם כאשׁר צוה יהוה את־משׁה - Isaiah 23 35:5 - Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened , and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped .
אז תפקחנה עיני עורים ואזני חרשׁים תפתחנה עַיִן Affliction, outward app.. עִוֵּר Blind (men, people) פָּקַח Open [8735] אֹזֶן Advertise, audience, .. חֵרֵשׁ Deaf פָּתַח Appear, break forth, dr.. [8735] - Psalms 19 27:3 - Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear : though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident .
אמ־תחנה עלי מחנה לא־יירא לבי אמ־תקום עלי מלחמה בזאת אני בוטח - 1 Kings 11 8:54 - And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.
ויהי ככלות שׁלמה להתפלל אל־יהוה את כל־התפלה והתחנה הזאת קם מלפני מזבח יהוה מכרע על־ברכיו וכפיו פרשׂות השׁמים
