- Judges 7 2:2 - And ye shall make no league with the inhabitants of this land ; ye shall throw down their altars : but ye have not obeyed my voice : why have ye done this?
ואתם לא־תכרתו ברית ליושׁבי הארץ הזאת מזבחותיהם תתצון ולא־שׁמעתם בקלי מה־זאת עשׂיתם - Exodus 2 34:13 - But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves :
כי את־מזבחתם תתצון ואת־מצבתם תשׁברון ואת־אשׁריו תכרתון
