- 2 Samuel 10 23:10 - He arose , and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary , and his hand clave unto the sword : and the LORD wrought a great victory that day ; and the people returned after him only to spoil .
הוא קם ויך בפלשׁתים עד כי־יגעה ידו ותדבק ידו אל־החרב ויעשׂ יהוה תשׁועה גדולה ביום ההוא והעם ישׁבו אחריו אכ־לפשׁט - Joshua 6 8:20 - And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw , and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to flee this way or that way : and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers .
