- 1 Samuel 9 23:29 - And David went up from thence, and dwelt in strong holds at Engedi.
ויעל דוד משׁם וישׁב במצדות עינ־גדי דָּוִד David David עָלָה Arise (up), (cause to) .. [8799] יָשַׁב "to dwell/sit" (make to) abide(-ing), .. [8799] מְצַד Castle, fort, (strong) .. עֵין גֶּדִי En-gedi - 1 Samuel 9 22:1 - David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam : and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him.
וילך דוד משׁם וימלט אל־מערת עדלם וישׁמעו אחיו וכל־בית אביו וירדו אליו שׁמה - Hosea 28 2:15 - And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope : and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
