- 2 Kings 12 25:4 - And the city was broken up , and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between two walls, which is by the king's garden : and the king went the way toward the plain.
ותבקע העיר וכל־אנשׁי המלחמה הלילה דרך שׁער בין החמתים אשׁר על־גן המלך וכשׂדים על־העיר סביב וילך דרך הערבה - Jeremiah 24 52:7 - Then the city was broken up , and all the men of war fled , and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden ; and they went by the way of the plain.
ותבקע העיר וכל־אנשׁי המלחמה יברחו ויצאו מהעיר לילה דרך שׁער בינ־החמתים אשׁר על־גן המלך וכשׂדים על־העיר סביב וילכו דרך הערבה - Jeremiah 24 26:20 - And there was also a man that prophesied in the name of the LORD, Urijah the son of Shemaiah of Kirjathjearim, who prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Jeremiah :
וגמ־אישׁ היה מתנבא בשׁם יהוה אוריהו בנ־שׁמעיהו מקרית היערים וינבא על־העיר הזאת ועל־הארץ הזאת ככל דברי ירמיהו - 2 Kings 12 10:5 - And he that was over the house, and he that was over the city, the elders also, and the bringers up of the children, sent to Jehu, saying , We are thy servants, and will do all that thou shalt bid us; we will not make any king : do thou that which is good in thine eyes.
וישׁלח אשׁר־על־הבית ואשׁר על־העיר והזקנים והאמנים אל־יהוא לאמר עבדיך אנחנו וכל אשׁר־תאמר אלינו נעשׂה לא־נמליך אישׁ הטוב בעיניך עשׂה - Jeremiah 24 32:29 - And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger .
ובאו הכשׂדים הנלחמים על־העיר הזאת והציתו את־העיר הזאת באשׁ ושׂרפוה ואת הבתים אשׁר קטרו על־גגותיהם לבעל והסכו נסכים לאלהים אחרים למען הכעסני
