- 2 Chronicles 14 1:9 - Now, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be established : for thou hast made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.
עתה יהוה אלהים יאמן דברך עם דויד אבי כי אתה המלכתני על־עם רב כעפר הארץ - 2 Samuel 10 6:20 - Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said , How glorious was the king of Israel to day, who uncovered himself to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his servants, as one of the vain fellows shamelessly uncovereth himself!
וישׁב דוד לברך את־ביתו ותצא מיכל בת־שׁאול לקראת דוד ותאמר מה־נכבד היום מלך ישׂראל אשׁר נגלה היום לעיני אמהות עבדיו כהגלות נגלות אחד הרקים - 2 Samuel 10 14:22 - And Joab fell to the ground on his face, and bowed himself, and thanked the king : and Joab said , To day thy servant knoweth that I have found grace in thy sight, my lord, O king, in that the king hath fulfilled the request of his servant.
