- Joshua 6 2:9 - And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.
ותאמר אל־האנשׁים ידעתי כי־נתן יהוה לכם את־הארץ וכי־נפלה אימתכם עלינו וכי נמגו כל־ישׁבי הארץ מפניכם - 1 Samuel 9 17:26 - And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying , What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel ? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God ?
ויאמר דוד אל־האנשׁים העמדים עמו לאמר מה־יעשׂה לאישׁ אשׁר יכה את־הפלשׁתי הלז והסיר חרפה מעל ישׂראל כי מי הפלשׁתי הערל הזה כי חרף מערכות אלהים חיים - 1 Samuel 9 14:8 - Then said Jonathan, Behold, we will pass over unto these men, and we will discover ourselves unto them.

[8738] - 1 Samuel 9 17:28 - And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men ; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said , Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness ? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart ; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.
וישׁמע אליאב אחיו הגדול בדברו אל־האנשׁים ויחר־אף אליאב בדוד ויאמר למה־זה ירדת ועל־מי נטשׁת מעט הצאן ההנה במדבר אני ידעתי את־זדנך ואת רע לבבך כי למען ראות המלחמה ירדת
