- Exodus 2 33:11 - And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp : but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.
ודבר יהוה אל־משׁה פנים אל־פנים כאשׁר ידבר אישׁ אל־רעהו ושׁב אל־המחנה ומשׁרתו יהושׁע בנ־נון נער לא ימישׁ מתוך האהל - Deuteronomy 5 34:10 - And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,
ולא־קם נביא עוד בישׂראל כמשׁה אשׁר ידעו יהוה פנים אל־פנים - Genesis 1 32:30 - And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel : for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved .
