- Deuteronomy 5 9:27 - Remember thy servants, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob ; look not unto the stubbornness of this people, nor to their wickedness, nor to their sin :
זכר לעבדיך לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב אל־תפן אל־קשׁי העם הזה ואל־רשׁעו ואל־חטאתו - Job 18 36:21 - Take heed , regard not iniquity : for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
השׁמר אל־תפן אל־און כי־על־זה בחרת מעני שָׁמַר Beward, be circumspect,.. [8734] פָּנָה Appear, at (even-)tide,.. [8799] אָוֶן Affliction, evil, false.. בָּחַר Acceptable, appoint, ch.. [8804] עֳנִי Afflicted(-ion), trouble - Numbers 4 16:15 - And Moses was very wroth , and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering : I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.
