- 2 Samuel 10 14:11 - Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the LORD thy God, that thou wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more , lest they destroy my son. And he said , As the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.
ותאמר יזכר־נא המלך את־יהוה אלהיך מהרבית גאל הדם לשׁחת ולא ישׁמידו את־בני ויאמר חי־יהוה אמ־יפל משׂערת בנך ארצה - 1 Samuel 9 14:45 - And the people said unto Saul, Shall Jonathan die , who hath wrought this great salvation in Israel ? God forbid : as the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of his head fall to the ground ; for he hath wrought with God this day. So the people rescued Jonathan, that he died not.
ויאמר העם אל־שׁאול היונתן ימות אשׁר עשׂה הישׁועה הגדולה הזאת בישׂראל חלילה חי־יהוה אמ־יפל משׂערת ראשׁו ארצה כי־עמ־אלהים עשׂה היום הזה ויפדו העם את־יונתן ולא־מת - Ecclesiastes 21 4:10 - For if they fall , the one will lift up his fellow : but woe to him that is alone when he falleth ; for he hath not another to help him up .
