- Leviticus 3 25:38 - I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.
אני יהוה אלהיכם אשׁר־הוצאתי אתכם מארץ מצרים לתת לכם את־ארץ כנען להיות לכם לאלהים - Jeremiah 24 51:29 - And the land shall tremble and sorrow : for every purpose of the LORD shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant .
ותרעשׁ הארץ ותחל כי קמה על־בבל מחשׁבות יהוה לשׂום את־ארץ בבל לשׁמה מאין יושׁב - Numbers 4 32:29 - And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession :
ויאמר משׁה אלהם אמ־יעברו בני־גד ובני־ראובן אתכם את־הירדן כל־חלוץ למלחמה לפני יהוה ונכבשׁה הארץ לפניכם ונתתם להם את־ארץ הגלעד לאחזה - Ezekiel 26 29:12 - And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate , and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years : and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
ונתתי את־ארץ מצרים שׁממה בתוך ארצות נשׁמות ועריה בתוך ערים מחרבות תהיין שׁממה ארבעים שׁנה והפצתי את־מצרים בגוים וזריתים בארצות - Jeremiah 24 22:10 - Weep ye not for the dead , neither bemoan him: but weep sore for him that goeth away : for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.
אל־תבכו למת ואל־תנדו לו בכו בכו להלך כי לא ישׁוב עוד וראה את־ארץ מולדתו
